These terms govern your use of WebToTell, operated by MyEssentialsOutlet in Alberta, Canada. By using the service, you agree to follow these terms and applicable law.

Accounts and security

Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in methods, and notify us of suspected compromise. You are responsible for activity through your account. We may restrict access when necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or enforcement.

Optional authentication messages

When you provide a phone number and expressly request SMS authentication, you consent to receive automated, transactional WebToTell security codes at that number. Message frequency varies with your sign-in and security activity. Standard message and data rates may apply. SMS is not a marketing subscription.

You may opt out by removing SMS verification in Account Security. If your sender supports replies, you may reply STOP; for HELP or if STOP is unavailable, contact [email protected]. Opting out may prevent SMS-based sign-in until you configure another available method. Delivery is not guaranteed because carriers, devices, outages, fraud controls, and number changes are outside WebToTell’s control. Authenticator-app verification and recovery codes remain available alternatives.

Community contributions

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant WebToTell a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, display, moderate, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the service. You may withdraw eligible content, but moderation, audit, report, and safety history may be retained.

Do not submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, privacy-invasive, malicious, or unauthorized content. Contributions may require approval. We may reject, hide, withdraw, restore, or preserve content and related evidence under our moderation rules.

Books, profiles, and claims

Catalogue facts, submissions, relationship statements, and claims do not by themselves prove ownership, authorship, endorsement, or legal rights. Submit only information and evidence you are authorized to provide. Approval grants only the specific WebToTell authority shown; it does not transfer copyright, a login account, or broader legal rights.

Service availability and third parties

The service may change, be interrupted, or contain errors. Links, metadata providers, email providers, and other third-party services have their own terms and practices. WebToTell does not guarantee their availability or accuracy.

Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, WebToTell is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. MyEssentialsOutlet is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will post the revised date. Alberta law and applicable Canadian federal law govern these terms, subject to mandatory consumer and privacy rights.
